Painting from artcenter





So now I can send the pics from my camera directly to this blog post. I took a snap shot at my painting hung in my entrance way-this was done back in 94' I did a series of abstract structural paintings and charcoal drawings. This was about 7" high. This painting got me scholarship from Artcenter. The shiny black surfaces were painted with oil based house painting. The gold -silver shapes were drawn with oil crayons. I don't know how I had so much energy to work this big...

I wish I still had my paintings from art center. They got thrown away in a locker clean up=)

I remember those days....I would enter room 105 and your face would just be covered with black of whatever you were using that night. Nightmares, Cecil. Those were my not-so-favorite of days.
