Otis Demo

These are all done in class for roughly about an hour and half. Top image is about 20 mins- I wanted to show them how to draw with lasso tool to block out the shape and keep editing it to make it into a good design. Start off with it being a huge battleship and I ended up covering most of it with shadow because I didn't like the design so much and it became more like a submarine. Second image is little less than an hour session- they wanted me to do "happy painting" so here it is. Before I showed them a series of animation paintings that I was doing for a client and they just couldn't believe it because it was such a different style from GOW. Yes... I am a happy child. I draw balloons and fluffy animals too.. hehe. Chevron logo is just random thing I put on. Last one is done real fast. Tuna-one of my former students asked me to do a "glacier" so I tried. It's not so easy making up glacier shapes without any reference.
